Dear Shenzhen Samii International Medical Center Family, 
亲爱的深圳市萨米国际医疗中心大家庭的家人们：  

At the start of 2021, I would like to extend my gratitude to our doctors, nurses, and supporting staff members. I am grateful, especially this year, for their  tireless work on the frontline in the battle against COVID-19. I wish to thank everyone throughout Shenzhen, and particularly Pingshan District, for trusting us with their medical care this past year. It was a pleasure to serve the whole family; whether for routine health checks, welcoming newborns, helping out during a surgery, caring for elders, or other healthcare needs.  

2021年伊始之际，我想向我们所有的医生、护士和各支持岗位的工作人员表达我真挚的感谢。感谢大家在这特殊的一年里不知疲倦地始终站在抗击新冠肺炎疫情的第一线。我想要感谢深圳尤其是坪山区的所有民众在过去的一年里对我院所提供的医疗服务的信任。非常地荣幸能够为大家的整个家庭服务，为大家提供常规体检、新生儿接产、手术、老年人照护以及其他医疗保健服务。 

I am thankful to all our employees, the local communities, public health officials, city authorities and countless others for their efforts to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Our vigilance and collective effort continue to play a crucial role in making our community safe and well-guarded against the resurgence of the epidemic.  

感谢我们所有的员工、社区、公共卫生机构、政府部门和无数其他人在新冠肺炎疫情中为减缓新冠病毒的传播所付出的努力。我们的警惕意识和共同努力将继续在维护社区安全、抵御疫情反弹中扮演重要的角色。  

As healthcare workers, our colleagues are the most valuable asset in the healthcare system. Each day, brave men and women come to work to face the risks associated with patient care in an infectious disease environment. Despite the unforeseen challenges of 2020, we continued with the development of our hospital, completed many construction projects, added new services, welcomed new talents and most  importantly entered the official Operational Phase of our hospital. On behalf of the hospital leadership, I am grateful for your selfless service. 

作为医务工作者，我们的同事们是整个医疗卫生系统最宝贵的资产。勇敢的你们每日都奋战在传染病的环境下、面对着照护病人可能带来的风险。尽管 2020年的挑战让我们猝不及防，我们仍然继续向前推动着我们医院的发展，完成了很多建设项目，开放了新的服务，引入了新的人才，最重要的是医院进入了正式运营阶段。在此，我谨代表医院领导层向大家无私的服务表示感谢。  

Moving forward, we rely on hard work, commitment and innovative spirit of our staff as we boldly challenge the status quo, rethink old routines, strive for excellent quality and safety of our services and seek the highest satisfaction of our customers and employees.  

接下来，我们将通过员工的努力工作、敬业投入及创新精神来勇敢地挑战当前的现状、重新审视旧常规、努力确保服务质量和安全、寻求客户和员工最大的满意。 

We are blessed with a community of people like you and are confident that a successful new year with many milestones to celebrate is awaiting us. I wish you a safe, healthy and happy New Year.
