With the education of over a thousand expert neurosurgeons worldwide, publication of 17 books and over 500 scientific papers, Prof. Madjid Samii has contributed greatly to the development of global neurosurgery.

The International Neuroscience Institute (INI) was opened in 2000 and quickly became a center of excellence for different disciplines of neurosciences. INI has received outstanding international recognition and is the model for China INI in Beijing (opened in 2016) and Iran INI (under construction).
