On the afternoon of September 28, Shenzhen Samii Medical Center held the First Meeting of the Second Term of Hospital Management Committee in the conference room of the Health Commission of Shenzhen Municipality.

Participants from the Chinese side include: Dr. LUO Lexuan, Secretary of the Health Working Committee of the Municipal Committee, and Secretary of the Party Group and Director General of the Municipal Health Commission, Mr. LI Chuang, Director of the Healthcare Reform and Community Health Division of the Municipal Health Commission, and Director of the Hospital Management Committee, Mr. LI Lin, Director of the Hospital Administration and Medicine Policies Division, and Committee Member of the Hospital Management Committee, Dr. WANG Cheng, Legal Representative, Secretary, Deputy Hospital Director, and Committee Member of the Hospital Management Committee of Shenzhen Samii Medical Center, as well as Mr. RONG Deyi, Chief Financial Officer and Committee Member of the Hospital Management Committee.

Participants from the German side include: Prof. Madjid Samii, President of the International Neuroscience Institute (INI), Hannover, President of the China International Neuroscience Institute (China INI), and Honorary President of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS), Prof. Amir Samii, Committee Member of the Hospital Management Committee, Dr. Mostafa Ghaffari, Senior Consultant of Shenzhen Samii Medical Center and Committee Member of the Hospital Management Committee, as well as Dr. Ethan Kholdebarin, Acting Hospital Director and Committee Member of the Hospital Management Committee.

The Meeting was chaired by Mr. LI Chuang, Director of the Hospital Management Committee.

At the meeting, the list of members of the Second Term of Hospital Management Committee was announced and certificates were issued.

Dr. WANG Cheng, Mr. RONG Deyi and Dr. Ethan Kholdebarin gave work reports, respectively. Prof. Madjid Samii and Dr. LUO Lexuan spoke at the meeting.

In a friendly atmosphere, the Chinese and German sides reviewed the development achievements of the hospital over the past year, and jointly planned for the future development of the hospital, aiming at building a demonstration pilot zone for socialism with Chinese characteristics in Shenzhen, driving the in-depth development of medical reform, promoting the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and improving the medical environment in Shenzhen.
