Notes

1. Time of physical examination: Please arrive at the Health Maintenance Clinic between 8:00-10:00 a.m. on the agreed date, and be sure to check in at the counter with your personal identification cards (those from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan shall take their personal identification cards, and foreigners shall take their passports).

2. Try to avoid strenuous manual labor and strenuous exercise, avoid getting emotional, and be sure to get enough sleep the day before physical examination, so as not to affect the results of physical examination.

3. 8-hour fasting is needed before the physical examination, otherwise blood glucose, blood fat, and liver function examination results may be affected. Drinking a bit of water is permitted.

4. Those taking medicine for chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and asthma shall not suspend the use of their prescription on the day of examination, and shall continue to take their medicine with a bit of water.

5. Lightweight apparel is recommended on the day of physical examination. Women are recommended to wear pants, not to wear underwear with metal, and not to wear jewelry; those above 70 years old or physically handicapped must be accompanied by a family member.

Special Notes for Female Physical Examination

1. Those pregnant or possibly pregnant shall notify the medical personnel ahead of time, and they shall not receive X-ray examination, gynecologic examination, or transvaginal ultrasound examination;

2. Gynecologic examination or transvaginal ultrasound examination is limited to those married or with sexual life; it is recommended to urinate before receiving examination.

3. Those who want to receive a cervical smear test must not have performed a vaginal irrigation (douche) in the past three days, and must not be using vaginal drugs, so as to obtain precise examination results.

4. Urine and excrement will not be collected from those in their menstrual period. Instead, the transvaginal ultrasound and gynecologic examination shall be postponed and they will receive a make-up examination three days after the menstrual period.

Tips

The physical examination VIPs may enjoy a free breakfast in our Health Maintenance Clinic; if they need to have something to eat after the examination, they may take their breakfast coupons to have breakfast in the dining hall on the second floor.

After completing the physical examination, please hand the physical examination guide sheet to the reception desk.

The physical examination reports shall be received by the organization's contact person; for special circumstances, please communicate with our contact person in charge of the physical examination for coordination.

If you have any doubts after receiving the report, you may come to the Report Interpretation Room of the Health Maintenance Clinic, and our health management experts will interpret your physical examination report and provide health consultation services; the consultation time is 14:00-16:20 from Monday to Friday.
