Dr. WANG Cheng is a member of the CPPCC Committee of Pingshan District, Shenzhen, and Secretary of Communist Party Committee, Legal Representative of The Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen(Shenzhen Samii Medical Center).

Dr. WANG Cheng also serves as the following:

Member of the Editorial Board, Chinese Journal of Clinical Neurosurgery;

Vice Chairman, Shenzhen Branch, Union of Chinese Oncology Management (UCOM);

Member of the Society of Neuro-Oncology, China Anti-Cancer Association;

Deputy Director, Society of Neurosurgery of Shenzhen Municipality.

He received his master's degree in medicine from Wuhan University School of Medicine in 1996 and his doctor’s degree in medicine from Peking University Health Science Center in 2006. He was promoted to the Chief Neurosurgeon in 2007. He was a Chief Neurosurgeon of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital. He has devoted himself to the clinical work in Neurosurgery since 1990. He has rich experience in diagnosing and treating common neurosurgical diseases, such as brain trauma, cerebrovascular diseases, brain tumors and spinal cord tumors, etc. He was the visiting scholar of San Giovanni Bosco Hospital in Turin of Italy in 2001. He also participated in many academic events in different countries and regions, including France, America, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc. He has edited one medical monograph and coedited 5 monographs, and published nearly 30 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author.
