Recently, the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC forwarded the Notice of the Publicity Department and the Organization Department of the Central Committee on Seriously Organizing the Learning of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China III and issued a notice requiring the conscientious implementation of this document by all regions and departments in light of their actual conditions.

The publication of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China III will help Party members, cadres, and members of the public to study, understand and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, systematically master the Marxist standpoints and approaches underneath it, and strengthen their commitment to the Four Consciousnesses, the Four-sphere Confidence and the Two Upholds; it is of great significance to help the international community better understand the main content of this important thought and to enhance the understanding of why the Communist Party of China is capable, why Marxism is feasible and why Socialism with Chinese characteristics is good.

Shenzhen Samii International Medical Center (The Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen) has developed a study plan based on the arrangements by the Party Work Committee of Municipal Health Commission and also made September, October and November as the hospital's discipline education and study months.

On the afternoon of September 3, the hospital held a launch meeting to study Xi Jinping: The Governance of China III and a deployment meeting for the discipline education study month. All Party members, middle-level cadres, Party activists and some members of the public in the hospital attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by ZHANG Longping, Head of the CPC Committee Office.

WANG Cheng, CPC Secretary and Deputy Hospital Director, delivered a mobilization speech and made arrangements for the activities of discipline education and study months. He stressed that it was necessary to set off an upsurge in learning and practicing Xi Jinping: The Governance of China III, to practically transform the learning effect into the governance ability and work level to cope with risks and challenges and to promote career development.

Later, the hospital invited Professor HAN Ying, member of the Party School of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and the Publicity Group of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, to give a lecture on Xi Jinping: The Governance of China III for all staffs. Prof. HAN gave a great presentation to the audience from basic situation, writing characteristics, main contents and learning requirements.

After listening to the lecture, WANG Cheng asked all Party branches of the hospital to allocate dedicated time to organize collective study, combined with the learning of the histories of the Party, New China, the reform and opening-up, and socialist development across Chinese society, and share their learning experiences.

All staff stated that they would seriously study Xi Jinping: The Governance of China III combining their actual work, and actively participate in the activities during the discipline education and learning months.
