Mr. CHEN was a deputy head of the Infectious Diseases Department at Hospital No. 59 of the PLA, a member of the 8th Infectious Diseases Committee of the Yunnan Medical Association, a member of the 3rd Infectious Diseases Committee of the Medical Association of the Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, and an adjunct associate professor at Chengdu Medical College. He was also a member of the Chinese peacekeeping medical contingent to Lebanon and a member of the Chinese Ebola Treatment Unit (China ETU) in Liberia, honored with the title of "Advanced Individual in Prevention and Control of the Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever Outbreak" by the Chinese government. He has participated in 3 research projects at the military district, provincial, and municipal levels and has published more than 10 papers.
He graduated from the First Military Medical University (now Southern Medical University) and completed advanced studies at the Tangdu Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University. With over 20 years of clinical experience in infectious diseases and liver diseases in Grade III Level A military hospitals, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various liver diseases and infectious diseases, and in particular has rich clinical experience in standardized antiviral therapy for chronic Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, as well as cirrhosis, liver failure, challenging infections, and fever of unknown origin, etc.
