With over 40 years of experience in gastroenterology, he specializes in the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), as well as the treatment of acute, severe, and critical patients with gastrointestinal bleeding. He previously served as the Director of the Training Base for Endoscopy and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy with Minimally Invasive Procedures of National Health Commission (Shenzhen), Standing Committee Member of the National Expert Committee for Regular Physician Assessment of Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery of the National Health Commission, Standing Committee Member of National Editorial Committee for Regular Physician Assessment of Endoscopy of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Vice-president of the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology at Nanchang University Jiangxi Medical College, Deputy Director of the Clinical Internal Medicine Teaching Office of at Nanchang University Jiangxi Medical College, Deputy Director of Gastroenterology Department (national key discipline) at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, Chairman of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society of Shenzhen Medical Association (2007-2019), Chairman of Gastroenterologist Branch of Shenzhen Medical Doctor Association (2012-2018), Head of the Gastroenterology Department, Head of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center and Head of the Infectious Diseases Department of the Second People's Hospital of Shenzhen.
