He has leading expertise in Guangdong Province for minimally invasive surgeries, such as laparoscopy-assisted standard radical D2 gastrectomy for cancers, laparoscopy-assisted low and ultra-low anterior resection of rectal cancer (i.e., total mesorectal excision (TME)), laparoscopy-assisted radical resection of colon cancer (i.e., complete mesocolic excision (CME)), and laparoscopy-assisted resection of gastrointestinal stromal tumors.
