ICU has a clean environment and a reasonable layout, and sets 12 beds, including 2 single-bed rooms and 1 negative-pressure room. ICU is equipped with invasive and non-invasive ventilators, bedside hemofiltration machine, intracranial pressure monitor, bedside B-mode ultrasound, electrocardiograph, cardiopulmonary resuscitation apparatus, mild hypothermia therapeutic apparatus, bedside blood-gas analyzer and other advanced equipment.
At present, ICU undertakes the diagnosis and treatment of common critical diseases and some difficult critical diseases in the ICU discipline, and will undertake a series of clinical research and teaching tasks in the future, striving to build the discipline into a provincial and municipal key discipline in South China.
