She earned a Master's degree in Neurology from Wuhan University School of Medicine and was previously a visiting scholar at San Giovanni Bosco Hospital in Turin, Italy. With 30 years of clinical experience in neurology, she specializes in diagnosing and treating common, frequently-occurring and critical neurological diseases, such as cerebrovascular diseases, central nervous system infections, peripheral neuropathies, neurodegenerative diseases, neurogenetic disorders, and neuropsychiatric disorders. She has led and participated in multiple municipal-level research projects. Currently, she heads the sub-center for three national multi-center clinical research projects and is involved in a special project on sustainable development funded by the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission as a sub-center head. She has led two external clinical research projects in collaboration with enterprises, was one of the editors for five monographs, published nearly 40 papers in SCI and core journals, and contributed to 5 invention patents.
