He is an expert enjoying special allowance of the provincial government, and has been engaging in clinical work of Neurosurgery for 50 years. Graduated from Wuhan University School of Medicine, he went to Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Fudan University for advanced training in neurosurgery in 1986, and was sent to Macau Kiang Wu Hospital as a visiting professor of neurosurgery for two years in 1996. He also served as the Director of Neurosurgery Department at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital.

He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of some diseases, such as craniocerebral injury, pediatric craniocerebral injury, sequelae of craniocerebral injury, brain tumors, spinal canal tumors, cerebrovascular diseases, congenital malformations of the central nervous system. Once served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Physician Association Branch and Medical Branch, and a director of the Neurosurgeons Branch of Shenzhen Medical Doctor Association, he now serves as an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Clinical Rehabilitation, and an editorial board member of the World Journal of Medicine Today. He has won three provincial prizes for science and technology progress, published more than 60 papers, edited and participated in the compilation of 6 monographs, and presided over and completed a number of provincial and municipal projects.
