The Rehabilitation Medicine Department has now set up the rehabilitation medicine clinic, rehabilitation function assessment room, therapeutic exercise room, occupational therapy room, language swallowing treatment room, physiotherapy room and high frequency treatment room. At present, the department has introduced advanced rehabilitation technology with complete facilities and considerate humanistic service. In terms of rehabilitation technology, the department has carried out New Zealand Maitland joint mobilization, Italian fascia manipulation, warm bath therapy, virtual reality training, swallowing angiography and other advanced inspection and treatment technologies. Among them, joint mobilization and fascial manipulation technology have been developed in a skilled way, and other advanced technologies will be continued in the department; in terms of facilities, the department has imported advanced rehabilitation equipment at home and abroad, including: warm bath therapy device, balance tester, transcranial magnetic, suspension device, cervical vertebra lumbar traction bed, ultrasonic treatment instrument, super laser pain treatment instrument, dysphagia diagnosis and treatment instrument, cognitive assessment and training system, etc.; the department can ensure elegant and quiet rehabilitation environment, barrier free and humanized facilities to provide patients with carefree rehabilitation services.


The department can also provide diagnosis and treatment projects including outpatient treatment and ward rehabilitation, and rehabilitation services for various sub specialties, among which neural rehabilitation is the sub specialty with advantage of the department. The diagnosis and treatment projects provided by the department: 1. Rehabilitation of hemiplegia, aphasia and cognitive dysfunction after stroke and traumatic brain injury; 2. Rehabilitation of dysfunction after spinal cord injury; 3. Rehabilitation of peripheral nerve diseases such as facial neuritis and brachial plexus injury; 4. Comprehensive treatment of cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, scapulohumeral periarthritis, acute sprain and contusion, degenerative osteoarthropathy and other acute and chronic injuries; 5. Functional recovery training after fracture operation and artificial joint replacement; 6. Physical factor therapy for pneumonia, skin wound infection and postoperative scar adhesion.
