The Urology Department of the hospital is constructed based on the standard of Grade III Level A hospital, with Inpatient Ward, Outpatient Services, Urological Examination Area (Cystoscopy Room, Urodynamic Room, Stone Analysis Room) and Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy Center set up. All the physicians have master’s degree and above degrees, and three of them have been granted with senior titles. All of them have been backbone physicians in Grade III Level A hospitals, and are able to undertake the task alone and have rich experience in clinical teaching and scientific research. After nearly two years of development, the department has been equipped with a variety of advanced diagnosis and treatment equipment, including high-definition laparoscopy, holmium laser, pneumatic ballistic lithotripter, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter, flexible ureteroscope, ureteroscope, nephroscope, stone analyzer, urodynamic instrument, cystoscope, prostate resectoscope, plasma resectoscope, urethrotomy and other equipment.

The department has carried out the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently occurring diseases of urinary system and male reproductive system, and has the ability of diagnosis and treatment of difficult and complicated cases. Featured by endovascular (minimally invasive) surgery, the department can skillfully carry out retroperitoneal laparoscopic surgery, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy, flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy, transurethral resection of bladder tumor, transurethral stricture incision, ureteral stricture incision, prostate plasma resection and other operations. Also, the department has carried out treatment of male reproductive system diseases such as prostatitis, cryptorchidism, impotence, premature ejaculation and other diseases, with satisfactory effects gained from patients.
