Dr. GAO graduated from Norman Bethune Health Science Center of Jilin University (formerly Bethune Medical University) with a degree in Clinical Medicine and has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for over 30 years. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of critical and severe obstetric and gynecological conditions, with extensive experience in managing obstructed labour. As the first author, he has published six academic papers in national core journals and one SCI paper. He also participated as the principal participant in a research project funded by the Department of Science and Technology of Jilin Province titled Study on the Role of Oxytocin in Central Modulation of Pain Perception, which was awarded Third Prize in the Jilin Provincial Natural Science Awards.
