Dr. DING has worked for over 30 years at a public Grade III Level A teaching hospital, dedicating her career to all aspects of clinical work in ophthalmology. She oversees the department’s clinical, teaching, and research work, and is responsible for training chief residents, advanced trainees, interns, and supervising standardized residency training. She has performed over 30,000 ocular surgeries, including ICL, cataract, and fundus procedures. She completed her master’s degree focusing on the implantation of high-end intraocular lenses, receiving training under Prof. ZHOU Xingtao and Prof. WANG Xiaoying’s team at the EYE & ENT Hospital of Fudan University, Shanghai, specializing in corneal laser and ICL procedures for myopia correction. She is proficient in phacoemulsification with vitrectomy, combined glaucoma–cataract procedures, and combined anterior and posterior segment vitrectomy. She is also experienced in treating various refractive errors, orbital tumors, microsurgery for ocular trauma, high myopia, and diabetic retinopathy. Her areas of expertise include SMILE, femtosecond LASIK, TransPRK, ICL implantation, refractive lens replacement for presbyopia correction, refractive cataract surgery, combined glaucoma–cataract surgery, combined cataract–vitrectomy procedures, and ocular trauma surgery. She has attended the Asia-Pacific Myopia Conference in Japan, led two municipal-level“Three New” projects involving new technologies, new services, and new methods and two team-based municipal research projects, all of which won third prizes. Her team has published dozens of papers in CN-level journals in China.
