Having been engaged in clinical work of pediatrics, neonatology and perinatal medicine for more than 30 years, he is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently-occurring diseases in pediatrics and neonatology. He specializes in the treatment of critical cases such as respiratory failure, circulatory failure, shock, multiple organ dysfunction in neonatology. Dr. WU has presided over 7 research projects at provincial and municipal levels, won 12 science and technology progress awards at provincial and municipal levels, and published 14 academic papers in national core journals. He has served as member of the Chinese Neonatologist Association, member of the Special Committee on Neonatal Health of Chinese Maternal and Child Health Association, member of the Standing Committee of Perinatal Medicine Society of Hubei Medical Association, member of the Expert Committee on Neonatology, standing director of Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, member of the Maternal and Child Health Association, deputy director of Postpartum Rehabilitation Committee of Maternal and Child Health Association, and director of Rehabilitation Association for Special Children.
