On the afternoon of July 13, a delegation led by LU Lanbi, CPC Secretary of Debao County Committee of Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, visited Shenzhen Samii Medical Center (SSMC). WANG Cheng, CPC Secretary, Legal Representative and Deputy Hospital Director, accompanied on the visit to introduce the hospital.

The delegation visited the Outpatient Department, the Inpatient Department, the central laboratory and the Safety and Security Surveilance room successively. Everywhere they arrived, WANG Cheng would introduce in detail the hospital's efforts in improving medical services and the patient experience, beautifying the hospital environment and ensuring safe operation.

When they heard that our hospital was awarded as one of the"Most Beautiful Hospitals in China", a "Child-friendly Hospital of Shenzhen Municipality" and an "Elderly-Friendly Medical Institution in Guangdong Province in 2021" last year, LU Lanbi affirmed the hospital's efforts in providing patients with quality medical services, a safe and warm environment, and humanistic care, and praised the dedication and sense of responsibility of hospital leaders.

Later on, Secretary LU Lanbi experienced in person the convenience and speed of the one-stop nucleic acid sampling station in the hospital.

In accordance with the requirements of the National Health Commission on strengthening the paired-up assistance between medical and health institutions, SSMC assigned in May a medical team headed by Dr. CHEN Min to help the People's Hospital of Debao County. SSMC handpicked 6 medical, technical and nursing backbones to introduce advanced hospital management concepts, medical technologies and services into Debao County to accelerate the improvement of primary medical and health service capacity in Debao County. Secretary LU Lanbi thanked SSMC for its contribution to the development of medical and health services in Debao County.

WANG Cheng emphasized that SSMC is the only municipal public hospital jointly operated by Chinese and foreign sides in China boasting hospital management concepts in line with international standards and high-quality international diagnosis and treatment resources, and has always been committed to providing the best medical services for patients. This assistance to the People's Hospital of Debao County is not only an important part of the paired-up cooperation between an old revolutionary base area and a major city, but also the responsibility of a public hospital.

WANG Cheng stated that the hospital will, as always, support the development of local medical and health undertakings in Debao County, and do its utmost to help local hospitals achieve rapid development in management, department construction and hardware facilities, so as to narrow the gap in medical capabilities between the two places. By continuously deepening cooperation to build a remote medical partnership, SSMC will do its best to enhance the "sense of gain" of local people in seeking medical treatment, so that they can truly feel the care from the medical staff of SSMC.
