Guess how one can prosper in the Year of the Dragon (or the Year of the Loong)?
It must be...
Red uplifts vitality, fostering greater prosperity!
Although the Lantern Festival has passed, the festive atmosphere continues to linger in the air. On February 26, crowds gathered at Shenzhen Samii Medical Center (The Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen) (SSMC) for a blood donation event. Not only did the enthusiastic hospital staff participate, but also compassionate citizens passing by volunteered eagerly.
While SSMC holds a collective blood donation event annually, this year’s event carries particular significance. Although it took only a short week from planning to successfully holding this event, we witnessed many heartwarming scenes of blood donation and experienced the warm atmosphere cultivated by the compassion, care, and professional service of medical personnel.
The widely called-for blood donation to save lives demonstrates a sense of responsibility through action. On the day of the blood donation, ZHANG Longping, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee at SSMC, was the first to donate. His leading-by-example spirit not only stirred our hearts with his passionate fervor but also showcased the proactive action and sense of responsibility of SSMC in contributing to the society.
The blood donation services offered by the Shenzhen Blood Center are excellent, with outstanding blood collection techniques. In particular, the painless "flying needle" technique has earned accolades from WANG Cheng, CPC Secretary and Legal Representative of SSMC. Moreover, he led the nursing team to the scene and enthusiastically exchanged venipuncture skills with on-site personnel.
Droplets of hot bloodconverge into a sea
We sincerely hope that
these blood bags brimming with blessings
can bring good luck to the donors
and deliver hope to those in need
in the relay race of life
