On the morning of July 27, 2023, under the leadership of Deputy Hospital Director ZHANG Libing and WANG Lu, a delegation of eight from Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital visited our hospital for a study tour.

WANG Cheng, CPC Secretary, Legal Representative, and Deputy Hospital Director of the Shenzhen Samii Medical Center (The Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen), along with the heads of the Party Committee Office, Office of Medical Services, Office of Nursing Services, and other relevant departments, participated in this study tour.

Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital is a national Grade III Level A institution that specializes in medical care, healthcare, scientific research, and education, with a broad range of specialized services for women and children. The hospital plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive women's and children's healthcare in Chengdu, and is rated as a national-level hospital providing safe and high-quality services for maternal and child care. It ranks 15th nationally and 1st in Sichuan Province in the performance assessment of national tertiary maternal and child healthcare institutions, and ranks 23rd nationwide in the 2021 performance assessment of national tertiary public hospitals (Ob/Gyn category). After years of development, Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital has established itself as a beacon of care, offering warm and safe birthing beds, ensuring children's health with sturdy cradles, and faithfully safeguarding the women’s health in the eyes of patients.

CPC Secretary WANG Cheng warmly welcomed the delegation from the Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital. Under the leadership of CPC Secretary WANG Cheng, Deputy Hospital Directors ZHANG Libing and WANG Lu, along with the delegation, visited our hospital for a study tour. CPC Secretary WANG Cheng gave a brief introduction to the basic situation of our hospital in various aspects including environmental enhancements, patient-centered care initiatives, departmental developments, and hardware equipment.

Hybrid Operating Room (HOR) is a key highlight of the visit. Our hospital is the first in Shenzhen to equip an intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device in our HOR. The HOR is an internationally advanced high-end neurosurgical operating room, designed to equip the traditional operating rooms with imaging capabilities that allow surgical procedures and radiological examinations to be conducted simultaneously in the same space. This setup enhances surgical efficiency and ensures the safety of patients by minimizing the need for patient movement during procedures.

After the visit, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges regarding the hospital's humanized services, talent introduction models, and the construction of HOR.

Deputy Hospital Director ZHANG Libing and WANG Lu highly praised our hospital's achievements in construction and management. They expressed that the rapid development of the hospital reflects the pioneering and innovative spirit of Shenzhen, as well as its courage to lead the way. They noted that our hospital's top-notch surgical equipment, garden-style environment, and patient-oriented management philosophy demonstrate our continuous efforts and effectiveness in improving medical quality and service levels. In addition, they highly praised our hospital's HOR and expressed their intention to deeply learn from our advanced practices and experience in this regard.

CPC Secretary WANG Cheng stated that the Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital’s construction achievements provide valuable insights for us as a newly built hospital in the high-quality development of medical and healthcare services.
