In order to thoroughly implement the plans of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the National Health Commission on the “team-based” support program for key county-level hospitals, and to comprehensively advance this initiative, on March 6, 2025, a delegation of nine medical experts from the Fourth People’s Hospital of Shenzhen (Shenzhen Samii Medical Center), led by CPC Secretary WANG Cheng, visited the People’s Hospital of Debao County in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region at the hospital's invitation to carry out a support and exchange program.

Centered on the theme of “CPC Building as the Guiding Force, Targeted Support, and Sustainable Empowerment,” SSMC organized a training program for mid-level leaders and a joint CPC-building activity for the People’s Hospital of Debao County. On the morning of March 7, the opening ceremony was attended by CPC Secretary WANG Cheng and other leaders and experts and on-site support team members from SSMC, who were Mr. LU Shengyao, Deputy County Mayor of Debao, Ms. HUANG Liyun, Director of the Debao County Health Bureau, along with the full leadership team, mid-level leaders, and representatives of medical staff from the People's Hospital of Debao County, as well as representatives of senior and mid-level officials from county-level medical and health institutions and township health centers.

Mr. LU Shengyao, Deputy County Mayor of the People's Government of Debao County, expressed his gratitude to CPC Secretary WANG Cheng and his team for making their sixth dedicated visit to Debao to carry out medical exchange activities. He expressed the hope that the County Health Bureau and the People's Hospital of Debao County should fully recognize the significance of the “team-based” medical support program, leverage the high-quality medical resources of SSMC, comprehensively implement key tasks, and accelerate the improvement of the county’s overall healthcare service.

Ms. HUANG Liyun, Director of the Debao County Health Bureau, expressed her gratitude to the leaders and experts from SSMC for their visit. She noted that through multiple rounds of exchange and support, SSMC has significantly contributed to improvements in both the management and medical technology skills of the People's Hospital of Debao County. She expressed her hope that medical professionals in Debao County would study diligently and contribute more to the development of healthcare in the county.

In his speech, CPC Secretary WANG Cheng expressed his pleasure at the significant progress made by the People's Hospital of Debao County over the past three years. He expressed his hope that the hospital should drive the rapid development of Debao’s healthcare sector and enhance the sense of gain and happiness among the county’s residents.

At the mid-level management training session, CPC Secretary WANG Cheng, along with four experts, LI Weixin, Head of Medical Services Department, SONG Shuo, Head of Research and Teaching Department, LIU Ninghan, Head of the Public Relations and Satisfaction Survey Group and LEI Yi, Head of Medical Imaging Department, delivered a series of systematic, professional, and insightful lectures. Drawing on their respective areas of expertise and aligning closely with the needs of modern hospital development, their presentations received an enthusiastic response from the mid-level management team of the People's Hospital of Debao County, the County Maternity and Childcare Hospital, and the County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.

CPC Secretary WANG Cheng delivered a specialized lecture titled Perspectives on Modern Hospital Management. With clear and accessible explanations, he shared insights into modern hospital management concepts, systems, and practices, providing valuable takeaways for all attendees.

Mr. LI Weixin, Head of Medical Services Department of SSMC, delivered a specialized lecture titled An Introduction to Medical Affairs Management.

LEI Yi, Head of Medical Imaging Department of SSMC, delivered a specialized lecture titled The Development of the Specialty of Medical Imaging — Practices and Insights.

Both parties jointly carried out CPC-building activities and celebrations for International Women’s Day on March 8, making the exchange not only rich in technical support but also warm with humanistic care.

Through the “team-based” support program, our hospital has transformed the “Special Economic Zone experience” into “Primary Power,” helping the People's Hospital of Debao County achieve systematic improvements in discipline development, talent cultivation, and service skills, thereby building a solid health defense for the people of Debao County.
