It is our great pleasure and privilege to invite you to the fifth MASSIN Interim Meeting to be held in Shenzhen, China, November 13-16, 2025.

In 2024, the MASSIN meeting was hosted by Professor Jacques Morcos in Houston, where we enjoyed a wonderful high-level scientific gathering and celebrated the ever-growing MASSIN family. Under President Morcos’ leadership, we also experienced unforgettable social events that fostered friendships and camaraderie.

We are delighted to see that, with your continued support, the unique spirit of MASSIN meetings has been revitalized after the pandemic. However, we are currently navigating through globally challenging times—politically, economically, and on a humanitarian level. These tensions inevitably impact many aspects of life, including the scientific community and healthcare systems.

MASSIN has always been a society that stands for international collegiality, education, and the advancement of high-level neurosurgical science and innovation. It is a society that has never been, and will never be, driven by political or commercial motivations. During the last MASSIN meeting, we all witnessed and celebrated this special spirit of global neurosurgery, which unites us across borders.

The MASSIN 2025 Interim Meeting will be jointly hosted by the Shenzhen Samii Medical Center (SSMC), the China-INI, and the INI-Hannover in the dynamic and fascinating city of Shenzhen. We are planning an exciting, high-level neurosurgical program enriched with social highlights and opportunities for pre- and post-congress activities to explore the great nation of China.

Shenzhen lies in the heart of the Greater Bay Area, an innovation hub particularly renowned for cutting-edge technologies, including medical advancements. Our program will feature world-leading neurosurgical experts, immersive 3D video sessions, and keynote lectures by global leaders in the fields of AI, robotics, and genetics.

The meeting will take place from November 13 to November 16, 2025.
