Warm Congratulations to Our Hospital on Successfully Leading the Establishment of the Gynecologic Oncology Committee of Pingshan District and Holding a Successful Academic Exchange Meeting

  On December 27, 2025, the Inaugural Meeting of the Gynecologic Oncology Committee of Pingshan District, Shenzhen, together with the 2025 Gynecologic Oncology Academic Exchange Meeting, and the Cervical Cancer Lectures were successfully held at the Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen. The event was organized by the Pingshan District Medical Association of Shenzhen and hosted by the Fourth People’s Hospital of Shenzhen. It brought together numerous experts and scholars in the field of gynecologic oncology to witness the establishment of the committee and to engage in in-depth academic exchanges on the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic tumors.

  Ⅰ. Official Launch of the CommitteeShapes a New Blueprint for the Development of Gynecologic Oncology Field

  The meeting opened with a solemn reading and review process. During the meeting, the “Approval for the Establishment of the Preparatory Group for the Gynecologic Oncology Committee” was officially read out, and the “Election Measuresforthe Gynecologic Oncology Committee of the Pingshan District Medical Association (Draft)” were reviewed and adopted. Following the election, Professor FENG Xin was elected as the first Chair of the Committee, experts YAN Youliang, HOU Yuhua, WANG Chun, WANG Mei, LIU Shuang, and ZHANG Aiping were elected as Vice Chairs, while Associate Chief Nurse SUN Lixin was appointed as Secretary. Certificates of appointment were presented to the Chair, Vice-Chairs, and Secretary at the meeting.

  In her speech, Professor FENG Xin, the first Chair of the Committee, stated that the committee will be dedicated to promoting standardization of diagnosis and treatment, scientific research innovation, and talent cultivation in gynecologic oncology in Pingshan District, thereby contributing to the improvement of regional gynecologic cancer prevention and treatment capabilities. Leaders including LI Baolin, President of the Pingshan District Medical Association and hospital leadership from the Fourth People’s Hospital of Shenzhen, attended the event and delivered speeches, extending warm congratulations on the establishment of the committee and expressing high expectations for its future development.



  Ⅱ. The Academic Exchange Meeting Was Impressive and Engaging, Focusing on the Latest Advances in the Cervical Cancer and Minimally Invasive Treatment

  Following the inaugural meeting, the 2025 Gynecologic Oncology Academic Exchange Meeting and Cervical Cancer Lecture continued. The meeting focused on hot topics in gynecologic oncology, including surgical anatomy, immunotherapy, endoscopic techniques, urodynamics, and standardized treatment of cervical cancer. Experts from the Affiliated Suzhou Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School, Nanfang Hospital Southern Medical University, Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University, and the Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen delivered thematic presentations.



  Professor CHEN Chunlin from the Affiliated Suzhou Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School gave the following presentations, including “Personalized Departmental Management Based on Analysis of Economic Performance Data”, “Anatomical Spaces, Fascial Anatomy, Layered Structures, and Cavity Anatomy in Obstetric and Gynecologic Surgery”, “The Relationship Between the Pericervical Three-Dimensional Ligament Ringand Anatomical Spaces: A Simplified Approach to Obstetric and Gynecologic Surgery” and “Vascular and Neural Relationships of the Pericervical Three-Dimensional Ligament Ring: Foundational Anatomy for Nerve-Sparing Surgery”.

  Professor FENG Xin from the Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen delivered a lecture titled “Immunotherapy for Endometrial Cancer”.

  Professor LIU Ping from Nanfang Hospital Southern Medical University delivered the following presentations, including “Interpretation of Urodynamic Parameters”,“Nerves Within the Pericervical Three-Dimensional Ligament: A Tool for Improving Surgical Quality for Obstetric and Gynecologic Surgeons”,“Vessels Within the Pericervical Three-Dimensional Ring: The Fundamental Basis for Achieving Hemostasis in Obstetric and Gynecologic Surgery”.

  Professor LU Anwei from Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University delivered a lecture titled“Vascular and Neural Anatomy in Type C1 Surgery for Cervical Cancer.

  The meeting covered several cutting-edge topics, including “Immunotherapy for Endometrial Cancer”, “Vascular and Neural Anatomy in Type C1 Surgery for Cervical Cancer”, and “Pericervical Three-Dimensional Ring Anatomy and Surgical Applications”. Through surgical video demonstrations and on-site discussions, the event provided participants with a platform that integrated theory and practice. Attendees actively engaged in discussions, exchanging clinical experience and research ideas, creating a strong academic atmosphere.




  Ⅲ. Promoting Regional Collaboration to Improve the Overall Level of Gynecologic Oncology Diagnosis and Treatment.

  This meeting not only marked a milestone in the establishment of the committee, signaling a new stage in the development of gynecologic oncology in Pingshan District, but also highlighted our hospital’s leading role in regional gynecologic oncology diagnosis and treatment. Through thematic presentations, case discussions, and surgical demonstrations, participating experts explored new techniques and approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic tumors, further promoting the integration and collaboration of regional medical resources.

  The Fourth People’s Hospital of Shenzhen will take the establishment of the Committee as an opportunity to further strengthen the development of its gynecologic oncology discipline, deepen regional medical collaboration, and actively promote standardized, minimally invasive, and personalized diagnosis and treatment approaches, contributing to improving the overall gynecologic oncology prevention and treatment capabilities and the health of women in Shenzhen.

  Under the leadership of Professor FENG Xin, head of the Gynecology Department of the Fourth People’s Hospital of Shenzhen, the department has established a well-structured system of sub-specialties with distinct features. It currently operates six major centers: the Gynecologic Oncology and Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, the Reproductive Endocrinology and Intrauterine Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center, the Cervical Lesion Center, the Reproductive (Intimate Area) Reconstruction and Plastic Surgery Center, the Tumor Genetic Counseling Center, and the Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Center. The department has extensive experience in the standardized diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently occurring gynecologic diseases, including uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis, pelvic floor disorders, ovarian tumors, infertility, reproductive endocrinology disorders, recurrent miscarriage, and cervical lesions. It is particularly focused on the standardized treatment and minimally invasive surgery of gynecologic malignancies, such as ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vaginal, and vulvar cancers. The department upholds the principles of adopting international standards, following standardized procedures and providing personalized treatment.
