Warmth fills the Chinese New Year, and reunions brim with heartfelt affection. At noon on February 14, the canteen on the second floor of the Management Building was beautifully decorated with lanterns and festive ornaments, creating a joyful and harmonious holiday atmosphere. With the care and support of hospital leadership, the Research and Teaching Department meticulously organized a warm Spring Festival reunion lunch for interns who remained in the hospital during the holiday period. The event conveyed festive greetings and care, helping ease students’ homesickness with a strong New Year atmosphere and creating a“warm haven”during the Spring Festival. YU Ping, Deputy Hospital Director, CAO Jing, Head of the Nursing Services Department, YUAN Bo, Director of the Research and Teaching Department; and staff from the Teaching Office joined the interns who stayed on campus for a festive New Year’s lunch. They exchanged New Year greetings and celebrated the arrival of the Year of the Horse in a cheerful and festive atmosphere.

Deputy Hospital Director YU Ping delivered New Year greetings on behalf of the hospital, expressing gratitude for the students’ hard work and contributions. She wished those spending the holiday at the hospital a joyful, peaceful, and festive Spring Festival, and encouraged them to achieve success in their studies in the year ahead. Director YUAN Bo also extended her New Year greetings. She expressed her delight in witnessing the students’ growth and progress during their clinical internships, as they work toward transforming from medical students into future healthcare professionals, bringing youthful vitality to the hospital. She wished everyone a happy Spring Festival, academic progress, and a successful internship experience.
This reunion lunch event reflects the thoughtful care provided by The Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen for interns staying on campus during the holiday. It not only brought students enjoyment in food and festive joy but also created a platform for communications between teachers and students, as well as among peers, strengthening collective friendship and team cohesion. The interns expressed that this event brought warmth and encouragement to their busy and fast-paced internship life. They will turn this care into ongoing motivation for growth, study even harder and carry out clinical practice more diligently, improve their professional skills, and strengthen their abilities, laying a solid foundation for safeguarding public health in the future.
