On the afternoon of June 6, WU Hongyan,Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Health Committee, Secretary and Director General of the Leading Party Members' Group of Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission (SZHC), LIU Hui, Director of the Institutional Reform and Development Planning Division of SZHC, LI Lin,Director of the Medical Administration Division of SZHC, ZHOU Liping, Director of the Health Science, Technology, Education and International Cooperation Division, and the delegation visited Shenzhen Samii International Medical Center (SSIMC, the Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen) for inspection and guidance.

On behalf of SSIMC, Dr. WANG Cheng, CPC Secretary, Legal Representative and Deputy Hospital Director of SSIMC, expressed sincere welcome to WU Hongyan and the delegation and heartfelt thanks to SZHC for their support and guidance over the years. At the same time, Dr. WANG Cheng also conveyed the cordial greetings and high respect from Ethan Kholdebarin, Hospital Director of SSIMC, to WU Hongyan. He thanked SZHC for supporting SSIMC's innovative operation pattern, and promised that SSIMC would play a greater role in Shenzhen's medical reform.

WU Hongyan and the delegation visited the Outpatient Services in Pediatrics Department, roof garden, wards in Obstetrics Department and Central Laboratory in SSIMC. WANG Cheng made a detailed report on SSIMC's work in epidemic prevention and control, clinical diagnosis and treatment, scientific research and teaching, international cooperation and other aspects.

In recent years, under the leadership of SZHC, the diagnosis and treatment level and service capacity of SSIMC have been significantly improved, and the medical environment has been continuously optimized, well meeting the increasing medical needs of the general public.

Wu Hongyan listened and asked while walking, and gave high recognition to the achievements of SSIMC's work.
