On June 18, WANG Cheng, CPC Secretary, Legal Representative and Deputy Hospital Director of Shenzhen Samii International Medical Center (SSIMC, the Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen), received the demonstration unit plaque of"Integration of Medical Treatment and Prevention" Public Health Lecture Hall from ZHUANG Junhan, President of the Shenzhen Hospital Manager Association (SHMA), kicking off the Father's Day theme activity of "Integration of Medical Treatment and Prevention" Public Health Lecture Hall in SSIMC. This activity was directed by the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission (SMHC), sponsored by SHMA, and co-organized by SSIMC, the Medical Process Professional Committee of the Shenzhen Medical Association, and the International Exchange and Cooperation Center of SHMA.

As the only municipal public hospital operated under Sino-foreign cooperation in China, SSIMC has always been committed to popularizing health knowledge and improving the health literacy of the general public. Combined with the "Integration of Medical Treatment and Prevention" Public Health Lecture Hall and by virtue of the opportunity of Father's Day, SSIMC conducted live broadcasts of science popularization on men's health and launched a one-week joint free clinic for male patients.

At the awarding ceremony, WANG Cheng said that it was SSIMC's honor to carry out the "Integration of Medical Treatment and Prevention" Public Health Lecture Hall activity sponsored by SHMA. The concept of "Integration of Medical Treatment and Prevention" is to closely combine the medical treatment and prevention of diseases, and change the focus from medical treatment to prevention. This concept is crucial to improving the health literacy of the general public and strengthening the bodies of the masses, and it is also an area that the hospital has been exploring. In this activity, SSIMC provided high-quality diagnosis and treatment services for male patients of different ages through health lectures, joint free diagnosis and other forms, which effectively put into practice the concept of people-centered health care. At the same time, SSIMC also thanked SHMA for its care and affirmation, and hoped that the two sides could continue to strengthen cooperation in health and welfare.

While addressing the ceremony, ZHUANG Junhan expressed his gratitude to SSIMC for its efforts in making this activity a success.
