To thoroughly carry out the themed education on learning and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and earnestly respond to the call of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for comprehensive and in-depth investigation and research, on the morning of June 26, a delegation of 15 persons led by Hospital Director SUN Siyu, Deputy Hospital Director LIU Xueyong, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection WANG Yong, Deputy Hospital Director GUO Chuanji, Deputy Hospital Director LIU Caigang and responsible persons of functional departments from Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University visited our hospital for investigation.

WANG Cheng, CPC Secretary, Legal Representative and Deputy Hospital Director of Shenzhen Samii Medical Center (The Fourth People's Hospital of Shenzhen) (SSMC), and responsible persons of relevant departments such as the Party Affairs Office, the Office of Medical Services and the Office of Research & Development participated in this investigation.

Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University, located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, is a large-scale Grade III Level A hospital with a long history of 140 years. It is also a large, comprehensive, modern and digitally advanced university-affiliated hospital and the first general hospital in China owning the famous Chinese trademark.

SSMC was officially put into operation in November, 2020. Jointly operated by Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission and the team of Prof. Madjid Samii, Honorary President for Life of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS), it is the only municipal public general hospital that operates through Sino-foreign cooperation in China.

The in-depth discussions and exchanges were conducted between Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University, an established public hospital and SSMC, a newly built public hospital.

The delegation led by Hospital Director SUN Siyu visited and conducted investigation at various places including the Outpatient Services, Inpatient Services, Reading Room, Roof Garden, Clinical Skills Training Center and Daycare Garden in the hospital. WANG Cheng introduced the hospital's basic situation to the visiting guests in detail covering various aspects such as the hospital’s international management, hospital construction concept, talent development, human-oriented service, high-quality development.

Hospital Director SUN Siyu highly praised and acknowledged the achievements and rapid development of SSMC in hospital management, medical services, hospital environment, etc. He also expressed his hope for both sides to fully leverage their respective strengths and explore possibilities for cooperation in education, teaching, scientific research and discipline construction.

Since the initiation of themed education on learning and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Party Committee of SSMC has been concentrating on implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, in earnest efforts to promote the transformation of work style, enhance capabilities, make scientifically-informed decisions, address issues effectively, and ensure the effective implementation of the hospital work through investigation. The hospital will take this investigation and exchange as an opportunity to further deepen reform and innovation, expand exchange and cooperation, continue to promote the hospital’s high-quality development, striving to provide better medical services and medical security for the citizens.
