Established in December 2017, the Diagnostic Laboratory is located on the second floor of the medical technology building, covering an area of about 1,000 square meters. The overall scale and layout of the department is of standardization and informatization, and the specialty setting is reasonable. At present, with its professional chemistry division grouping and personnel echelon, automatic equipment and two-way communication, standardized operation process and quality management, and information network design, it has developed into a comprehensive laboratory that provides clinical testing and diagnosis.

The Diagnostic Laboratory has specialized groups of specimen pretreatment, biochemistry, immunology, blood, body fluid, microorganism, molecular diagnosis, cell morphology, etc., with 23 staff, of which 2 have master’s degree, 1 with senior title, 4 with intermediate title and 14 with junior title. The Diagnostic Laboratory is equipped with Roche automatic biochemical immune analyzer, Siemens immune analysis line, Mindray CAL8000 blood analysis line, Sysmex blood analyzer, Mejei urine analysis pipeline, Wantai automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer, TECAN automatic enzyme immunoassay workstation, Sysmex CS5100 coagulation analyzer, Biomerieux blood culture instrument system, automatic microbial identification instrument, automatic nucleic acid extraction instrument, real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument and other advanced testing equipment. The department will continue to introduce new technologies and carry out new projects to provide an important guarantee for the diagnosis and treatment of clinical diseases, curative effect observation and prognosis evaluation.

 
Quality and service are always the eternal pursuit of the Diagnostic Laboratory. In order to ensure the accuracy, timely inspection report, standard and thoughtful service, the Diagnostic Laboratory will establish and improve the quality management system in strict accordance with the requirements of CAP and ISO15189, strictly implement the standard operation procedures, ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test results, and the quality control of the whole process before, during and after the testing. Morever, the department attaches importance to the construction of continuing education and scientific research, and has participated in a number of provincial projects and scientific research projects.
