He specializes in various cerebrovascular diseases, tumor diseases and skull base diseases of neurosurgery.

He now serves as the Vice President of the China International Neuroscience Institute (China INI), a member of the Committee of Cerebrovascular Diseases and Skull Base Tumors of the World Federation of Neurosurgery (WFNS), and the Director General of the Neurosurgeons Society of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. He is also the Associate Editor-in-Chief of theChinese Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases, an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery, and an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Clinical Neurosurgery.

He has participated in the compilation of 4 domestic guidelines or expert consensuses, conduction of 1 international, large-scale multi-center clinical study, translation of 6 monographs as Chief Translator (or Editor-in-Chief) and Associate Translator (or Associate Editor-in-Chief), and writing of 6 monographs, and won 2 national invention patents and 2 utility model patents. He has published more than 80 academic papers, including 6 papers in SCI-recognized journals.
