Adhering to the concept of "fine technique and diligent encouragement, sincerity and goodness", taking the demands of patients as the center, with the construction of nursing discipline as the main line, the Office of Nursing Services, Shenzhen Samii International Medical Center has always been focusing on the construction of nursing talent echelon, which plays an important role in the development of nursing work and the control of nursing quality, with a nursing management mode integrating nursing, teaching and scientific research gradually formed.


At present, the hospital has 14 nursing units. All nurses in the hospital are distributed in the Inpatient Services Department, Outpatient Services Department, Health Management Department, Emergency Department, ICU, Operating Room, Disinfection Supply Room and other departments. All the nursing management personnel have bachelor and above degree. The office of nursing services has implemented a three-level nursing management mode of Hospital Management Team - Office of Nursing Services - Nursing Unit. Of all personal staff in the office, the number of chief nurse accounts for 1.17%, that of associate chief nurse accounts for 2.35%, and that of charge nurse accounts for 29.41%, among them, 8.2% of the nurses have working experience abroad. Education degree structure: master's degree 0.58%, bachelor's degree 77.77%. A nursing management committee has been established, with nursing quality management committee, nursing research and teaching management committee, intelligent nursing management committee subordinated, including various specialist teams, such as static therapy safety team, stress injury team, nursing adverse events team, nursing innovation team, nursing emergency team, accompanying supervision team. Among these teams, the static therapy safety team has been networked to provide PICC catheterization and maintenance services for the residents in Pingshan district and surrounding areas. Each committee member has clear responsibilities, has established a relatively perfect nursing management system, and will always adhere to the multi-disciplinary nursing cooperation concept of "one hospital bed in the whole hospital", so as to effectively ensure the quality of medical care and patient safety management, and improve the connotation of nursing specialty in our hospital.


Nursing team construction is always an important part of nursing management. Since its establishment in November 2017, the office of nursing services of Shenzhen Samii International Medical Center has established regulations and systems, improved nursing system documents, perfected the organizational structure for nursing management and important nursing scientific research and teaching, held several provincial and municipal continuing education projects every year, actively applied for various patents and topics, and published dozens of nursing papers.


Moreover, the Office of Nursing Services has always adhered to the training mode of internationalized nursing talents, invited domestic and foreign nursing experts to give lectures and exchange on the construction of humanistic nursing in foreign countries, established "English corner" group to cultivate nurses' English communication ability, fully popularize and participate in English teaching, English ward round and English shift handover, and implemented the "Going out” strategy, with seven nurses sent to study abroad in many institutions, including Singapore Economics and Management Institute, Waikato Institute of Technology, Hannover Medical School and the International Neuroscience Institute (INI), Hannover.
